Rover adds tracks, moving arms and a Bluetooth controller to the mBot2 platform. Choose mBot2 Rover if you already own an mBot2: this is the add-on pack, without the robot. Choose mBot2 Rover Robotics Kit for the add-on pack together with one mBot2 coding robot.
After assembly, use mBlock to program movement, respond to sensors and animate CyberPi’s colour screen. Begin with visual blocks, then inspect and adapt the generated Python. The wheeled mBot2 and tracked Rover are alternative builds that reuse the same base electronics.

Yes. Start with visual blocks in mBlock 5, then move to Python. In Upload mode, you can view the Python generated from blocks to compare the two approaches.
Use mBlock 5 on a Windows or macOS computer, or the mBlock web editor with mLink 2 installed. A USB connection provides a straightforward way to set up the robot and upload programs.
It shows the wheeled mBot2 and tracked Rover as alternative builds. The Robotics Kit contains one mBot2 plus the Rover add-on parts. Both builds share components, so you assemble one configuration at a time.
