xTool · Portable laser engravers
The F2 combines two laser sources in a compact machine with a carrying handle. Use the diode laser for suitable wood, leather and dark opaque acrylic, or the infrared laser for marking metals and selected plastics. A built-in camera helps position a name, illustration or fine pattern on the workpiece. The small working area suits tags, jewellery, labels and other individual pieces, with the laser and settings chosen for each material.
Prepare the design in xTool Studio, position the object and refresh the camera image before checking focus and running a material test. For repeat work or longer pieces, the optional Slide Extension increases the available area; a compatible rotary attachment supports round objects. Both are separate accessories. Plan a controlled workspace, extraction and trained operation before getting started: the orange protective cover does not change the F2's Class 4 classification.

Standard
The diode laser is for cutting or engraving suitable non-metals. The infrared source is for marking or engraving metals and selected plastics. Check the exact material and test the settings first.
It is a captured image. Refresh the camera preview whenever you move the material before checking the design placement.
No. The F2 uses xTool Studio; xTool currently lists LightBurn as unsupported.
The EU/UK safety guide specifies professional use in a controlled area. It is not intended for use around children or untrained bystanders; the protective cover does not make it a Class 1 machine.
