Learning through making
Define the lesson outcome first, then choose a robot with suitable programming tools, sensors and teaching resources.

Start with a small challenge: make a robot move a set distance, react to an obstacle or follow a sequence. Decide how learners will test their prediction and explain what changed.
Work in pairs or small groups and rotate responsibilities: building, coding, testing and observing. Record both successful attempts and the unexpected results that lead to better questions.
Check the manufacturer age guidance, programming environment, device requirements and included learning resources. Codey Rocky is listed for ages 6 and up; facilitator judgement and supervision still matter.
Consider charging, storage, device access and time for setup and packing away. A teaching plan and an equipment list work best when developed together.
